‘American Idol’: Paula Abdul Undermines the Integrity of Neil Diamond Night

After subjecting viewers to the ear-splitting repertoires of Mariah Carey and Andrew Lloyd Webber these past two weeks, American Idol went easy on us last night, with each of the five remaining contestants performing two songs made famous by Neil Diamond. The music wasn't bad, but the episode was marred by the major revelation that Idol is apparently fixed (or that Paula Abdul can see the future, which we refuse to rule out).
