Art Collective Alfort Raises Terrifying Doll Army

Alfort's LILLIPUT (Installation View) (2008)Courtesy of gallery hanahou

The Japanese art collective Alfort has transformed Soho's gallery hanahou into something of a school ground for Cylon toddlers: Dozens of tiny, genetically blessed, moon-eyed girls wearing frocks with bows and ankle socks are positioned marching on a ground of slippery, clean pebbles. All these gorgeous Lilliputians need is a little love. Through May 14. —Emma Pearse
