With the Internet now expected to make all physical objects obsolete by the end of this decade, it's nice to see that someone still cares about designing a proper book cover. For Maps and Legends, Michael Chabon's first-ever collection of nonfiction essays for McSweeney's, artist Jordan Crane has created this beautiful, three-piece dust jacket bearing his characteristically gorgeous illustrations. Man, this will look great on our near-empty bookshelf next to our Kindle! See Maps and Legends up close, after the jump!
