Last night, on the first half of American Idol's two-part season finale, the Davids squared off, each performing three songs (if you could call what David Cook did "performing"). To no one's surprise, the Idol judges unanimously declared David Archuleta the night's winner and politely congratulated Cook for having made it this far, while trying their best not to look him in the eye. Still, on a show with producers whose skulduggery knows no bounds, anything can probably happen on tonight's Idol-crowning results show.
