Photographer Jessica Dimmock Meets the Needles

It's a common but rarely well-executed intention among contemporary photographers to document the roily existence of urban heroin addicts without coming off as pervy voyeurs or misguided sociologists. Jessica Dimmock has somehow managed the ground in between with her 42 shots of addicts she immersed herself among in a ninth-floor Manhattan walk-up.
