Fozzie Bear, Animal, Kermit, and Miss Piggy were fine on their own, but Jim Henson's nutty puppet party made a sublime art of the cameo, picking people who could very well have been Muppets themselves. Walking caricatures like Sylvester Stallone, Raquel Welch, Alice Cooper, and Gilda Radner appear on this third season, which peaks with Liberace, clad like a vampire bullfighter — and bragging about how the carats in his diamonds "could feed all the rabbits in the world."
