After you enter your e-mail address, you're given the option of downloading The Slip (or Halo 27 if you're into that) in your choice of high-quality digital formats. We were able to get it in MP3 in seconds without any digital hiccups or In Rainbows–style server crashes, which is really pretty impressive considering the amount of diggers likely hammering the site right now. On a first listen, Slip sounds like a spiritual sequel to last year's Year Zero, though with more live instruments, better pop songs, and not quite as many vacuum-cleaner synthesizer noises. We like it — thanks again, Trent!
