‘Marley & Me’ Teaser Trailer Is Marketing Failure, Fuzzy-Wuzzy Success

Tagline: "Heel the Love."

Translation: Awwww!

The verdict: This is actually a terrible teaser for the Owen Wilson–and—Jennifer Aniston–starring adaptation of John Grogan's gazillion-selling memoir about the life and death of his ill-behaved, lovable dog — a book that despite its cheesy sentimentality was actually totally touching and moving and made at least one Vulture editor flat-out bawl at its ending — because it removes everything that was interesting about the book and flattens it out to one stupid Chariots of Fire–themed joke, but who the hell cares because OMG PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
