Artist K. Min Sacrifices a Perfectly Good Muffin

K. Min’s quiet pastel of a blueberry muffin kissing a paper bag with its hours-old (at least) grease stain is part of a group show at Number 35, through August 8, based on the color (or non-color) white. On view are designer trash bags in a window, Chinese takeout boxes, and lots of spooky, clean shadows moving about on a white wall. K. Min's work is pensive and sad, like a memory of a muffin lost. —Emma Pearse
