George Lucas, the ever-popular creator of the Star Wars prequels, gave an interview to the London Times on Sunday in which he discussed the difficulty of doing another Indiana Jones sequel, particularly when Steven Spielberg thinks that all of his ideas are stupid: "Really, with the last one, Steven wasn't that enthusiastic," he said. "Steven's in the past. He's trying to drag it back to the way they were, I'm trying to push it to a whole different place. So, still we have a sort of tension. This recent one came out of that." Still, following Crystal Skull's $740 million success at the worldwide box office, Lucas thinks Spielberg is "more amenable" to a follow-up, so we guess you might not want to act too surprised when they hold a joint press conference to announce 2010's Indiana LaBeouf and the Temple of Aliens and CGI Monkeys.
