There are plenty of Emmy nominees that make us smile through the tears — Danny Strong, Emmy-nominated screenwriter! — but by far the most deserving of this year's Emmy nominees is "I'm Fucking Matt Damon" in the category of Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. Say what you want about the Emmys, they're not afraid to nominate toe-tapping numbers in this category, no matter how risqué — it was in this category last year that "Dick in a Box" won its well-deserved Emmy.

Will Sarah Silverman attend the awards? (She's also a nominee for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series, for Monk.) When "I'm Fucking Matt Damon" wins — and it will win, against some Disney song, a Mad TV sketch, and two Flight of the Conchords tracks that will cancel each other out — will its victory be bittersweet? After all, her relationship with Jimmy Kimmel, whose imaginary cuckolding at the hands of People's Sexiest Man Alive the song celebrates, recently fell apart. It's rare that we see such high drama on Emmy night — we'll keep our Kleenex at the ready!
