Terry Gilliam to Make Sequel to ‘Lost in La Mancha’
With perpetually delayed projects like Chinese Democracy, Inglorious Bastards, and Where the Wild Things Are now closer than ever to near-existence, Terry Gilliam must be feeling left out. According to Hello! magazine, the hapless film director is allegedly making plans to revive The Man Who Killed Don Quixote — the movie whose first hilarious problem-plagued attempt resulted in the excellent documentary Lost in La Mancha — with Johnny Depp purportedly interested again. We shudder to think what natural and financial disasters will beset Gilliam’s production this time (maybe a plague of locusts can steal the catering truck?), but we anxiously await the making-of documentary.
