Timbaland, Who We Hope Is Lying, Claims He Will Produce All of Jay-Z’s Next Album

But while the prospect of ten bagpipe-enhanced, M.I.A.-ish "Big Pimpin'"s sounds totally awesome in theory, we're obviously concerned about Timbaland's ability to pull off such a thing these days; when was the last time you really loved one of his beats? Is there a man, woman, or child on Earth not sick of the guy right now? Plus, wasn't "Come Around," Tim's lone contribution to M.I.A.'s Kala, that album's only stinker? If Jay-Z were going to go the single-producer route, why can't he just call up Just Blaze, who very nearly saved Kingdom Come from being a total wash? (At least he wouldn't try to rap on any of his beats.) In the same interview, though, Timbaland claims that his upcoming album with Chris Cornell is his best work ever, so let's hope he's lying about the Jay-Z thing too.
