Artist E.V. Day Unveils BDSM Barbie
To while away their childhood hours, some girls play ball, others form rock bands, and others still dress their dolls in high fashion, sometimes with a twist — Punky Brewster meets Marilyn Manson, maybe. E.V. Day, a Brooklyn-based sculptor, incorporates all these “girlie” sensibilities, setting fire to feminine style or, here, turning a sultry-eyed Barbie into a glamorous bondage model.
