Maybe! According to Michael Riedel's "vast network of sources in the hip hop world," Jay-Z and Beyoncé are huge fans of Fela!, Bill T. Jones's Fela Kuti musical currently mulling a move to Broadway, and could "get behind it in a very big way." Riedel's homies say Hova probably wouldn't actually invest in the show but would help promote it by talking it up in interviews. We've had our doubts about Fela! connecting with Broadway audiences, but the Jigga Man's endorsement certainly can't hurt, particularly given the show's vast superiority to Budweiser Select.
