‘House’ Returns to Save TV's Tenderest Bromance

We’re sure Fox’s medical drama can withstand an 8 p.m. time slot. House is the most-watched scripted show on television, and last season's finale left not a few juicy unresolved plotlines: Wilson’s (Robert Sean Leonard) girlfriend Amber died in a bus accident, and it was Dr. House’s fault — sorta. Tonight’s premiere will reveal if TV’s tenderest bromance can survive the fallout, what case the medical detectives will blunder through next, and if being implicated in a friend's death can make the misanthropic House grow a heart.

House, M.D.
