Naked Hippies to Hit Broadway in 2009

  • 9/11/08 at 09:53 AM

Following three extensions in Central Park's Delacorte Theater this summer and last month's Riedelian speculation, the Public Theater has officially announced that Hair will transfer to Broadway in 2009. "We're moving the show indoors, but the celebratory joy of this production will remain intact," assured artistic director Oskar Eustis. Here's hoping Ang Lee finishes Taking Woodstock at Tarantino-y speed, so Jonathan Groff can get back to playing Claude. [Playbill]
