On September 30, The Mindscape of Alan Moore is released on DVD, featuring an in-depth look at one of the most brilliant comic writers … ever? During the 78-minute documentary, Moore walks the audience through his development as an artist, from childhood through his graphic-novel work and, um, recounts tales of his newest interest, "magic." (Full disclosure: We kind of fast-forwarded through that part.) In this extended clip offered up by MTV, you'll get some insight into the creative process behind Watchmen, as well see Moore narrate the comic along with a panel-by-panel animatic. Um, you'll also get a glimpse of his last six meals, pieces of which still linger in that crazy massive beard.
