Lauren Gohara’s lonely feather in the sky was painted with one man in mind: Senator Barack Obama, who she hopes will be the next President of the United States of America. And in that spirit, the painting will be up for auction at an Obama fundraiser this Saturday night, where small works by young artists like Gohara will be going for reasonable prices. And make no mistake: The tactility of the feather is not meant to suggest that the candidate is a featherweight.
