The Verdict: Awards bait at its very finest, the latest Clint Eastwood joint attempts to dispel the popularly held belief that all children are pretty much interchangeable. In The Changeling, Angelina Jolie's son gets kidnapped, and when the LAPD can't find him, they just replace him with some other kid and declare the case closed. Jolie's previous portrayal of a woman with an abducted family member (in A Mighty Heart) failed to pay off in an Oscar nomination, but this time she's thrown in an asylum and blasted with a hose, so we like her chances.
