VMAs Just Won't Give Up on Britney
Perhaps because Russell Brand isn't reason enough to endure this Sunday's Video Music Awards, MTV has announced that the show will be opened by Miss Britney Spears. She won't be performing, however. Perhaps that's for the best after last year's Klonopin-esque performance, but still: We refuse to be enthused unless there's at least a 5 percent chance of there being a giant snake onstage. [MTV]
