Will & Grace may have helped establish the vain, uptight, loveless gay male stereotype, but (as Will’s lack of love life on the show can attest) gayness wasn't what made the series—now on DVD box set—a sitcom staple. It was the cheap and hilarious running gags (Rosario’s caustic one-liners, the New Jersey–fied charades buddies Rob and Ellen), the epic buffoonery between Jack and Karen, and those guest stars, from Madonna and Parker Posey to Woody Harrelson.
