Terrible news for the New York Times editorial board! At a press conference a few minutes ago, MTV Games announced that the Beatles catalogue has been licensed for use in a brand-new Rock Band–like video game. The game, which doesn't arrive until next year (boo!), will purportedly feature music spanning the Beatles' entire career, from Please Please Me through Abbey Road, and be completely motherfucking awesome. Sadly, the Rock Band franchise, unlike Guitar Hero, does not feature boss battles, which makes the chances of a guitar duel with a satanic-looking, hell-dwelling Yoko Ono probably unlikely.
