That’s Fucked Up!

“This is going to be the best-slash-worst-slash-most-entertaining Fucked Up show ever,” announced FU front man Father Damian, a.k.a. Pink Eyes, at the beginning of a guest-packed twelve-hour album-release show at the Rogan store. Between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m. yesterday, the former Bowerie Lane Theater, now home to stiff denimwear and tailored jackets, hosted sweaty fans (and even moshers) and a rotating cast of sweet guests from Moby and J. Mascis to members of Vivian Girls, Les Savy Fav, and Vampire Weekend. See ‘em all in our slideshow.

Singer Pink Eyes has already stripped his shirt off and fallen on the ground.
Fist pumping, the onetime punk takes a walk down memory lane, a.k.a., the Bowery, and covers “Blitzkrieg Bop.”
Kickball Katy and Cassie Ramone, sharing the one working mike, later jump in the middle of a rough crowd.
The place was packed by 2:30 p.m., but when word of the free beer spread, the line soon stretched around the corner.
Les Savy Fav front man Tim Harrington pops in, making two big, um, personalities on one small stage. He threatens to use his iPhone to look up Agnostic Front lyrics.
The notoriously preppy singer’s performance stuns both fans and haters as he shrieks Blitz’s “Someone’s Gonna Die” and the Descendents’ “Parents.”
Yes, crowd surfers.
The hard-core icon feels the love.
J. Mascis got them jamming, but only after covering Last Rights and Deep Wound. Righteous!
