Everything You Heard About the ‘Dark Knight’ Sequel Was a Lie

David Goyer, the guy who came up with the stories for The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, tells MTV that all rumors currently circulating about the next Batman movie are patently false: "It’s all B.S. ALL of it," he says (probably referring to absurd reports that Johnny Depp is playing the Riddler, Cher is playing Catwoman, and that director Christopher Nolan has already signed on). “Chris and I haven’t even talked about it. He quite understandably is taking a long, long vacation and wants to purge himself." What this means is that pretty much all the posts we wrote during the months of July and August were totally wrong. Sorry!
