Project Bueller Is Back!

Earlier this month, a near-tropical storm wiped out the Deitch Art Parade and, along with it, Project Bueller's audacious plan to re-create, in entirety, the parade scene from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. At the time, the crazed planning committee was considering jumping the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But they’ve scaled ambitions back a bit, aiming instead for the Village Halloween Parade, which means this thing may actually happen this time. Project Bueller predicts “tens of thousands of people breaking out into the world's largest Beatles sing-a-long. We want the streets to erupt in joy and for it to be one of the greatest experiences of everyone's lives.” If we actually encounter a horde of Sloane Peterson look-alikes, it just may be.
