Fall TV Deathwatch: Wednesday-Night Triage

  • 10/2/08 at 3:32 PM

Is ABC’s fall lineup in trouble already? Last night the network offered up the return of three new shows from last year — Pushing Daisies, Private Practice, and Dirty Sexy Money — and was met with a resounding collective "ehh." All three shows lost their respective time slots (Daisies with a particularly humbling fourth-place finish), and only Money did not show a decline from last season’s viewing numbers. In more unsettling news, FEWER PEOPLE THAN EVER ARE WATCHING KNIGHT RIDER!! Which makes sense, as it is terrible — but also does not make sense, because as we calmly already explained, that means Ben Silverman might get fired. Can you handle that on your conscience, America?
