Despite the show's bad ratings and even-worse reviews, NBC has hilariously put in a full-season order for Knight Rider, the awful, Hasselhoff-less remake of the not-quite-as-bad eighties TV show. Why would they do such a thing? Presumably because the rest of the network's fall lineup is tanking too and airing nine more episodes of Knight Rider will be slightly less embarrassing than showing infomercials in prime time. With the bar to success this low at NBC, maybe Ben Silverman will get to keep his job after all!
