Video Games Preserved
A National Videogame Archive will open later this month in Nottingham, England, holding a "'treasure trove' of consoles and cartridges ranging from 'the humble beginnings of 1972's "Pong," to the blockbusters of the 21st Century.'" It'll also be dedicated to preserving the ways of the gaming communities, meaning this may be the world's first archive with one of those Museum of Natural History–type glass displays to feature a bleary-eyed kid drinking Mountain Dew.
