Vulture hero "Weird Al" Yankovic makes a bold first step into digital delivery tomorrow with the surprise release of a brand-new single on iTunes. But what pop song will he brilliantly skewer this time? It's top secret for now, but Al drops a hint on his MySpace blog: "It's a parody of a song that very recently was (or perhaps still is) the number one song in the country. That would be another first for me — I don't think I've ever released a parody of a song while the original song was still number one!"
Idolator speculates that it's a takeoff of Katy Perry's awful, non–Song of the Summer "I Kissed a Girl," but we're going to give Al more credit — we think it's T.I.'s "Whatever You Like," the current Billboard No. 1, which, now that we think about it, sounds like it was written with the specific goal of inspiring a parody about an opulent all-you-can-eat buffet.
