Not even the awesomely dynamic combination of Cedric the Entertainer, John Leguizamo, and Haley Joel Osment was enough to lure poverty-stricken theatergoers in these economically depressed times. Though it only opened at the Belasco on Monday, David Mamet's American Buffalo has already posted a closing notice and will play its final performance on Sunday night "if the box office doesn't drastically improve," says producer Ben Sprecher.
