Tessa Farmer’s fairies are made of dead insects and live on twisted plant roots and animal carcasses — fairies that live on the wrong side of the track, more the playthings of a Guillermo del Toro Ofelia character than someone Peter Pan might hang around with. See four new macabre works at Spencer Brownstone Gallery through December 13.
