We've given HBO a hard time lately (with good reason, mind you), but we should clarify: It's their non-Wire, non-Sopranos series we're mocking, not their original movies like Recount. So it was with great excitement that we read this on Variety's site a few minutes ago: "HBO is developing an untitled film about the life of Katharine Graham, who took the reins of the Washington Post and led the paper during the Watergate investigation that brought down the Nixon administration. Joan Didion is writing the script, and Laura Linney is circling the project to potentially play Graham." That's right, Didion and Linney. It's practically enough to make us forget John From Cincinnati. [Variety]
