John McCain on ‘SNL’: Obama Would Raise Ben Silverman’s Taxes
11/4/08 at 9:45 AM
Last night, on the SNL Presidential Bash 2008, a clip show featuring mostly old material (and no new appearances by Tina Fey, tragically), John McCain showed up (presumably on tape) to open the episode and throw a last-ditch Hail Mary. He asked viewers that, before entering the polls today, they think about the plight of Joe the Network Programmer, who "is actually two people: Ben Silverman and Mark Graboff, two NBC executives that would definitely pay more under my opponent's tax plan." So, before you pull that lever, you'll likely want to remember that your vote could mean one less white tiger, karate demonstration, or naked-lady ice sculpture at Ben Silverman's Veteran's Day bacchanal next week. Choose wisely!
