Broadway’s ‘Hair’ to Be Groff-Less
11/21/08 at 9:50 AM
Friends, we have some bad news on this chilly Friday morning. From Playbill: "Jonathan Groff, the Spring Awakening Tony nominee who had originated the role of Claude in the Public Theater's recent stagings of Hair, will not reprise that role when the production arrives at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre in February 2009." Apparently the actor is "not available." Ang Lee, is this your doing? [Playbill]
