Cindy Sherman continues to impress us, not just with her stellar self-portraits — immaculately composed so that they are neither sterile nor self-consciously grungy — but also in her ability to concoct more and more creepy characters. Her new show opens at Metro Pictures on Saturday and runs through December 23. It's a must-see.
