Sundance Announces Bummer-Less, Iraq-Free Lineup

“There’s a darkness to some of the film, to be sure,” says Sundance director Geoffrey Gilmore about today's announced competition lineup for January's festival. “But over the last couple of years audiences got tired of films that directly engaged the Iraq War and other heavy subject matter … and we’ve moved away from the syndrome of filmmakers only able to talk about themselves.” See the full lineup here!
