Well, it's back we guess. American Idol returned for an eighth season last night with a mean new judge, a hilarious new executive producer, and renewed promises to keep awfulness to a minimum. Will this year's search again result in the glorious discovery of incredible new singing talent? Or will it be like every other year prior to last?
