Lil' Mama doth protest too much at the beginning of the newly leaked "I'm a Diva," telling the paparazzi "no more pictures." But everything about this track gives the lie to that little prelude, from the lyrics asserting she "was born for this" to the slick "Womanizer"-esque pop production. Most telling: Lil' M mostly sidelines the mike skills she displayed on her bubblegum rap masterpiece "Lip Gloss," to take a stab at straight-up pop singing. But unlike Yeezy or Weezy, Lil' Mama seems to be a natural, no matter what she's doing behind the mike.
