Your First Look at Inglourious Basterds’ Swastika-y New Logo!

Via Entertainment Tonight, we have our first look at real footage from Quentin Tarantino's misspelled World War II epic, Inglourious Basterds (see a promo for the teaser, after the jump). We're not yet sure if Brad Pitt's Lt. Aldo Raine is quite what we envisioned while reading the screenplay, though all gunplay seems to be about right. One thing we were definitely not expecting was a swastika in the movie's logo, which is certainly a bold choice on the part of Tarantino, the Weinstein Company (which has a Holocaust movie nominated for Best Picture!), and some fearless graphic designer. At least no one will mistake this for Valkyrie!
