Lionsgate Merging With Twilight Studio?

According to Sharon Waxman, Lionsgate is in talks to merge with Summit Entertainment, the indie behind Twilight. The deal would give Summit a cash payout after its two years in existence and Lionsgate the rights to a proven film franchise. Also, it would open the door for a really scary Halloween episode of Mad Men. [The Wrap]
