Mere days after we mentioned how much we'd love to see the lovely and talented Miss Amanda Bynes host Saturday Night Live comes word that she's preparing to star in a new workplace-comedy pilot for ABC called Canned. According to Variety, the show "revolves around a group of friends who are all fired on the same day. Bynes will play Sarabeth, a naïve Midwesterner who's being exploited by her boss — and doesn't realize it." We can only hope that Nikki Finke doesn't get her mitts on the focus-group reports for this show! [Variety]
