After capitalizing on the (short-lived) wave of nostalgia that propelled 90210 to early ratings highs, the CW quickly began plotting their reboot of the Melrose Place franchise. Unfortunately, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that a source close to the production has confirmed that "There wasn't a way to bring [Heather Locklear] back that made sense." As much as it sucks that we won't get to see Amanda Woodward terrorizing the new cast with her micro-miniskirts and fourteen-inch heels, if they can figure out a way to get Daphne Zuniga to sign on the line that is dotted, all will be forgiven.
