Bad news for those of you who have been holding out hope for that long-gestating Veronica Mars movie. The show's creator, Rob Thomas, told the New York Post this morning that: "While the pitch [to producer Joel Silver] went well and I don't think the movie's dead, right now it's looking depressing. I think honestly if we would have had the pitch ready a year earlier, it would be a go project ... This is the least optimistic I've felt in a while." [PopWrap/NYP]
