Wilco's next album, due in June, doesn't have a title yet, but those super-sleuths over at Stereogum managed to discover that the track list includes a ditty called "Wilco (The Song)." We obviously haven't heard it yet, but we're cautiously optimistic that Jeff Tweedy penned one of those origin-story-type songs — you know, like "Creeque Alley" by the Mamas & the Papas. At the very least, it ought to be as catchy as "Hey Hey, We're the Monkees." Because, otherwise, what's the point? UPDATE (2:20pm): Turns out they played this song on The Colbert Report back in October. We'll let you draw your own conclusions as to whether it tops The Monkees in the comments. [Stereogum]
