ABC is planning a rather ambitious ad campaign during next week's 100th episode of Lost in support of Flash Forward, a Lost-esque show that the network has yet to officially pick up for its 2009/2010 lineup. The show, based upon a sci-fi novel by Robert J. Sawyer and starring Joseph Fiennes, is being set up as both a companion and eventual replacement for Lost, which will enter its final season in early 2010. Though we imagine that ABC's aggressive marketing is a strong indicator that the show will actually end up on the network, we are amused by the possibility that one day Lost fans may dimly recall the promos and chalk it up as just another unanswered mystery of the Island.
