David Simon appeared on PBS's Bill Moyers Journal last week to discuss his career in television and journalism, and the entire interview, plus a full transcript, is available on the PBS website. It's a pretty terrific interview full of insightful comments from the creator of The Wire, but we're mostly impressed by the fact that he managed to keep himself from blushing after all the immensely flattering praise heaped upon him by Moyers, who turns out to be a pretty major Wire fanboy.
