In Treatment begins its new season and schedule (two episodes on Sunday, three on Monday) with our shrink's own problems. After his divorce, Paul left his kids and the Baltimore suburbs to start over back in Brooklyn, but the past won’t fade away. Convinced Alex’s death was a suicide, his hard-ass of a father is suing Paul for malpractice. Paul’s insurance-company-appointed lawyer turns out to be Mia, a former patient who thinks he abandoned her twenty years ago. She agrees to hand the case to another attorney, but it looks like they’ll have some issues to work out.
