Bryan Fuller's ultra-twee ABC series Pushing Daisies will soon be joining Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel among the ranks of canceled cult television shows carrying on with new canonical stories in the form of monthly comic books. Pushing Daisies' comics incarnation will be published by DC Comics, is set to debut in the fall, and will apparently involve its cast facing off against an army of 1,000 zombies. Gee, maybe if the TV show had actually focused on a zombie war rather than cutesy procedural stories it would still be on the air! [E!]
