Two weeks ago, Clay Aiken was reportedly removed from the Kodak Theatre after he showed up unannounced to pitch American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert on a duet and joint tour. Yesterday, in a completely unrelated story, Aiken wrote a blog post in which he said he was rooting for Kris Allen to win, and that when he heard Lambert’s version of “Ring of Fire” he “thought my ears would bleed … Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening!” [Gawker]
